Guitar Lessons – Berks County – Reading PA

Welcome! I teach guitar lessons to complete beginners who have the drive and discipline to come prepared each week with an understanding of the previous weeks lesson. I teach approximately 10-15 guitar lessons which provides a serious student a basic understanding of chords, scales, technique, and theory. After that point the student will have enough of an understanding to be on their own and use the seemingly unlimited free online resources to further their guitar technique and theory.

I’ve successfully taught students for many years and have developed a fun easy-to-understand crash course for beginner guitarists to get them understanding and playing the guitar as quickly as possible without all of the boring stuff that they can just learn on their own down the road if they choose. We will not be learning “Mary Had Little Lamb” here.

I do offer online lessons, however in-person lessons are recommended.

I’ve been playing guitar for 40 years and professionally for 30 years. I’ve studied guitar at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA. I’m in my early 50’s and have been married for over 20 yrs with an 18 yr old daughter.

$30 for 30-40 minute lesson. First lesson $20.
